We decided as a group to design a water desalination solar powered system to fight water scarcity and provide clean water and safe drinking water for communities. Therefore we decided to use a solar powered system since it doesn't contaminate the environment and requires less skilled labour for installation. As a group we shall use underground water,waste water,and sea water because it always contains may microorganism which may cause diseases for example the bacteria and some times phytoplanktons which need to me eliminated to make the water clean and safe for drinking ,home use and industrial use. It can be programmed to run with minimal human interaction which reduces the costs incurred during the production of the water thus gibing an economic advantage.
